unfortunately this is not an acutal puppet porn website, as i have far too few puppets laying around (just 2 where i currently am so it would getting boring pretty quick XP) but this is my bro strider shrine! he's my favourite character in homestuck which may strike you as odd at first. but dear reader, i have a perfectly respectable reason for my infatuation whith this shaded samurai. HE'S JUST SO FUCKING COOL!!! there's just something so alluring about his multi-layered irony, his razor-sharp anime shades, his kickass katana! i seem to have something of a soft spot in my heart for these kinds of men (I am also a very big fan of postal dude). if I can be homnest, they are some of the only men I find myself attracted to but good lord! bro strider is definitely not the deepest character in homestuck, and many of the traits i find relatable in bro are much better explored in dave and dirk. but is he not just the epitome of coolness? also he likes puppets!i like puppets! i love the muppets and marionettes and everything! he likes it in a *differnt* way than i do but still. theres a sort of machismo about him that i find intoxicating. i have a headcanon that bro strider is a trans woman, trapped in his own ironic and also sincere perception of masculinity, which he forces onto dave. he's been my favourite character since i started reading in august of 2025 (yes im a newgen i know) and he still is after i finished the comic. {SPOILERS INCOMING} did i cry during the dave/dirk conversation? YES I DID! did it stop me liking bro strider? as you can probably guess by the existence of this page, HELL MOTHERFUCKIN NO!! did he abuse dave? yeag he did but him being a bad person does not make me not like the character or think he's not an interesting character to explore. like this is not a critique of homestuck but if everything silly were recontextualised in the way that scene recontextualises bro then homestuck would be pretty horrifying! i think a lot of early homestuck is just very silly and a lot of the fandom discourse that I've been a part of seems to hinge on wether these scenes should exist in their original context or the context of the comic as a whole. this is the sort of issue that does arise with a long-running piece of art, especially one following the same characters. also i really fw cal. lil cal is the shit. i do like a ventriloquist doll and when i was little i did want to be a ventriloquist for a little bit. also he raps. thats fire. i want to rap also but the best thing ive ever written was a charlie kirk parody rap T~T. anyways I love his design so much! I dressed up as bro strider for halloween 2025 me and my friends we went to this night market thing in our city which was really fun. i had some cake as you can see in the third pic which was awesome. i even got recognised! i had a little convo with someone there whilst in line for some thai streetfood that this is the year of homestuck. it was so awesome. this wouldn't be the last time, however. i went to a joey valence and brae concert with my girlfriend and i dabbed someone up after they recognised my dirk shades! it was awesome! a couple of days ago i was at wetherspoons and some geezer dabbed me up for having sick shades. damn. bro strider is so fucking cool. i really wanna make a lil cal puppet but like really fucked up and creepy. something that baby dave would be fuckin TERRIFIED of XD. i have very limited sewing skills (ive only ever really sewn band patches onto my jacket) but i think it'll be a fun project! i would also like to make a couple of smuppets for... reasons
